Dean Courtenay
Director

Dean is a founding Director of Quadrant and an experienced HR executive with a strong business focus and excellent relationship building skills.
He has extensive experience in HR and IR strategic and operational roles including 10 years at (BHP) Port Kembla Steelworks during a period of major restructuring, change and investment. He led the management development program across BHP globally with full responsibility for leadership development programs. At BHP Petroleum, he continued with substantial experience in organisational and management development roles. As General Manager of HR for Melbourne Water, he played a major role in 'commercialising' the newly formed organisation achieving significant innovation, restructuring, new systems implementation, a voluntary reduction of staff and a refocused Executive.
He leads Quadrant's executive search activity in Human Resources, Sales, Marketing and General Management and is currently focused on our movement into key Finance roles that are drivers of strategy and its execution.

Russell Fakira

Russell is a results driven, business and human resource executive with over 17 years experience in strategic, operational and transformational HR roles in the pharmaceutical, FMCG and media industries across Australasia. He has extensive client-side experience building, leading and aligning organisational capability through roles such as the Director of HR for FOXTEL and HR Director with Lion Nathan.
He has a passion for developing strong business partnerships which deliver measurable shareholder value through transformational change initiatives. Russell is an experienced leadership coach and functional expert focused on growing business capability targeted to the external customer; developing leaders and talent depth and; improving overall business performance.
As Director of Quadrant Executive, Russell leads a national team of senior HR executives / consultants who focus on helping organisations execute strategy. He has worked with multiple organisations in implementing capability initiatives with a specific focus on leadership and sales delivering proven results. Courtenay is a specialist in Executive Search recruitment methodology leveraging a deep network of industry associations globally. He has successfully managed strategic and general management placements through to functional management, technical and operational appointments in FMCG, Manufacturing and Supply Chain companies. His experience covers SME to Global organisations across a range of industries.
